Yesterday, I visited Dishley Pool, an RSPB site in Leicestershire to document wildlife through photography, capturing this honeybee hard at work collecting pollen from a willow catkin. Willows are a crucial early-season food source for pollinators, providing much-needed pollen as they emerge from winter. Through my work with the RSPB, I’m aiming to highlight the beauty and importance of these habitats, encouraging more people to visit these incredible nature sites and connect with the wildlife around them."
