During my visit to Dishley Pool, I spotted this Seven-spot Ladybird making its way up a young shoot, a reminder of the vital role these small but mighty insects play in our ecosystems. As natural predators of aphids, ladybirds help maintain plant health, making them an essential ally for both gardeners and the wider environment.
